All About Ewe & You

My name is Rachel and I am the owner and face of Ewe & You. As I look back on my life there is a common thread, that has been slowly evolving into what is now Ewe and You Fiber Arts. That commonality is yarn. Yarn has brought so many people into my life and changed me always for the better.

My fiber arts passion began with a friend in college who taught me the most basic steps to crochet. As my skills and stash expanded so did my passion for making and gifting crochet items. Being a military spouse it was always a common topic helpful in finding common ground and making new friends. When our military journey took us to Seoul, South Korea I was welcomed into a group of spouses who also taught me to knit.

Our return stateside brought us to Leavenworth, KS, where I became involved with a Local Yarn Shop and was given the opportunity to teach crochet classes and grow my knitting skills immensely. While on a fiber arts retreat with my Kansas family I learned the basics of spinning and also became interested in felting. During this time I also had the opportunity to publish a design with Crochet! Magazine which is also currently available on Ravelry called the Hairpin Lace Tee.

Every one of these experiences has helped me become the person I am today. Fiber Arts has changed my life in so many ways. It has given me friends throughout the world and a passion to try and provide that for others. Its more than just about yarn, it is about inspiration, community and the need to pass that on to future generations. I hope to serve the community for many years to come and hopefully spread some inspiration and passion for fiber arts along the way!
